Practical Course: Advanced Software Development Tools

Contents

The demands placed on modern software are becoming increasingly high and complex. As a result, new software development techniques are constantly being introduced to meet these demands. This often requires researchers to implement new development environments and tools that support these advanced development techniques.

In this module, participants will use and extend advanced software development tools from both industry and research. The goal is either to expand the tool’s functionality or to improve its non-functional properties.

Practicum work is graded individually, and group work is required. The practicum is integrated into the chair’s current research projects and offers ample room for creativity. The practicum assignments are practice-oriented and prepare students for real-world tasks in research and industry.
